DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the birthplace of America. Welcome to Philadelphia. Join us for an insightful, fun, and story-driven walking tour of historic Old City Philadelphia. Follow in the footsteps of the city's and country's founding fathers and learn how the vision of William Penn, Benjamin Franklin, and other icons from American history shaped the city and the nation. We will trace the history of Philadelphia from its European origins, through its foundations, to its explosive growth in the eighteenth century, through to the end of the American Revolution. Along the way we will SEEK to understand the ideas that made the city unique, EXPLORE the most iconic locations in colonial Philadelphia, and WANDER around tiny streets and even tinier alleyways exploring both famous and forgotten landmarks.
